Description
Named after a garland of sacred lotuses, the Padmavali is a long necklace set that tells its story through repetition and rhythm — each element a blooming flower, each flower a jewel, each jewel a moment of extraordinary Jadau craftsmanship.
The necklace is strung on a delicate multi-strand seed pearl chain accented with small emerald green beads, from which a continuous sequence of kundan lotus floral clusters cascade downward. Each cluster is built around a central Glass Polki (Moissanite) kundan stone surrounded by emerald green meenakari enamel petals in a lotus formation — the vivid green enamel providing a rich colour contrast against the gold-toned setting. Between each floral cluster, smaller kundan connector motifs maintain the flow of the design, and tiny pearl and green bead drops hang from select points along the chain, adding movement and texture.
The necklace descends to a grand pendant — a two-tiered masterpiece that begins with a domed transition piece encrusted with kundan and meenakari, from which hangs the main pendant body: a large rectangular Glass Polki centrepiece set within an ornate arch of pave kundan stones, flanked by emerald green meenakari butterfly motifs and finished with a generous fringe of large pearl drops and green bead clusters.
