Description

The bridal nath is one of the most sacred and iconic pieces of Indian bridal jewellery, and the E-M-135 honours that tradition with exceptional artistry. This beautiful nath features a classic open hoop design in gold-toned silver, adorned with hand-set Glass Polki (Moissanite) kundan stones along the upper arc, accented by vivid emerald green meenakari enamel leaf motifs that add a lush, natural elegance to the piece.

At the front of the hoop sits a large lustrous pearl as the focal centrepiece, flanked by smaller kundan stones, with a single pearl drop hanging delicately from the base for added grace and movement. The nath is fitted with a screw-back post for secure, comfortable wear throughout the day — a thoughtful detail for brides who need confidence that their jewellery will stay in place during long ceremonies.

The accompanying side chain — known as a nath chain or passni — is an alternating strand of ivory seed pearls and small emerald green beads, wire-wrapped in gold, stretching from the nath to a discreet hair-clip fastener at the other end. This chain rests gracefully along the cheek and is fastened into the hair, completing the traditional bridal nose jewellery look that is central to North and West Indian bridal traditions.

Jewellery Care

Remove before bathing, swimming, or exercising — keep away from water, sweat, and perfume

Wipe the nath gently with a soft dry cloth — take care around the meenakari enamel and pearl to avoid damage

Store the nath and chain separately in a soft fabric pouch to prevent tangling and scratching

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and humidity to preserve the gold plating and enamel

Handle the pearl drop and chain beads gently — do not pull or tug on the wire-wrapped sections

Always put on the nath last when getting ready — apply makeup and skincare before wearing
